To enhance accessibility, the abstracts and English titles of the journal’s articles have been indexed and published in Doaj so that international researchers can benefit more from its articles.
The Doaj institute hosts scientific journals with Open Access and has been evaluating scientific publications since 2003.
The defined missions of DOAJ for this institute are “to increase the visibility, accessibility, reputation, usage, and impact of quality, peer-reviewed, open access research journals globally, regardless of discipline, geography, or language.”
In comparison to the indices MEDLINE, PubMed Central, EMBASE, and SCOPUS in 2015, DOAJ has the highest number of listed open access journals.
The Doaj index is recognized by the Ministry of Science in Iran as one of the reputable international scientific journal indices, and various scientific journals in Iran benefit from it.
Previously, Elsevier had announced that the journal of Codicology and Textual Criticism qualified for acceptance in the international Scopus index and had indexed its articles from the first issue.
